IMPORTANT: When you email a patch please include a statement disclaiming any copyright or intellectual property interests you may have in the code. Patches cannot be accepted without such a disclaimer.
The disclaimer is required so I can continue to multi-licence future versions of catool under both the GPL and commercial terms. The practice of multi-licencing is relatively common and used by open source projects as MySQL, Asterisk and Qt.
